Terms of use

If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Service. The privacy notice describes how we handle information. It is part of this agreement.

The Service is a hosted workspace. You enter figures. The Service calculates and displays cost, price, margin, break-even, inventory, period comparisons, alerts derived from those figures, and a comparison of business results to household figures you enter. Results are produced from what is in your account. The Service does not connect to a bank, till, payment provider, or tax authority.

The Service is in early access and is offered free of charge unless we say otherwise on this page. Features may change, move, or be withdrawn. We will not rewrite figures you have saved as if they were ours, but a later version may calculate or display them differently.

You must be at least 16 and able to form a contract where you live. You need an account to save a workspace. You are responsible for the account, the password, and all activity under it, including activity by anyone you allow to use it.

We may limit or lock sign-in, sign-up, or password-reset attempts to protect the Service. A session may end if it expires or cannot be refreshed. Your saved content remains until it is deleted or the account is closed.

You retain ownership of the names, figures, and files you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate the Service for you, including export, import, and reports you request.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and of any file you import, and for having the right to submit it. Import adds content to your account. It does not replace our right to refuse a file that is unsafe or too large.

The Service, including software, templates, interface, and marks, remains ours. These terms do not give you a right to copy, scrape, or resell it.

You will not:

• access another person's workspace or bypass authentication
• interfere with or overload the Service, or probe it except as we expressly allow
• use the Service to break the law or to store information you are not allowed to hold
• copy, scrape, or resell the Service

We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe violates these terms or harms the Service or other users.

The Service is a working model of figures you supply. It is not accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, legal advice, lending advice, or investment advice. It is not a payment, invoicing, payroll, or currency-exchange service. Displayed estimates, including any tax line, alerts, scenarios, and household comparisons, are not filings, appraisals, or a recommendation to set a price, take a loan, or treat a period as settled.

Amounts remain in the currency in which you enter them. The Service does not convert currencies. Inventory and history reflect what you log, not a physical count or a connected sales system.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a lender, auditor, insurer, or tax authority.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICH MAY BE ZERO) AND (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD 50).

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You will defend and indemnify us and our suppliers against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your import of a file, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Export a copy if you want one, then delete workspace content. Signing out ends the session on that browser. It does not close the account.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if we must do so to protect the Service or others, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice where we can so you may export.

Account closure as a self-serve control is not yet offered. The privacy notice describes what that means for information you entered. Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and this section) survive termination.

We may change these terms or the Service. The date at the top is the version that applies. Continued use after a change is acceptance. If we introduce a charge or withdraw a material part of the Service, we will update this page before that takes effect for you.

These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. They replace any prior or contemporaneous terms on the same subject. If a court finds a term unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the Service.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a mandatory local law says otherwise. You and we will bring disputes only in a forum that has jurisdiction over the operator, except where applicable law requires a local forum.
